Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens (1812 –1870) was an English writer. He is regarded by many as the greatest novelist in the English language. Many of the characters created by him continue to live on in readers’ imaginations. His works like Oliver Twist, David Copperfield, A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, Pickwick Papers and many more were hugely popular during his lifetime and after. His novels and short stories are still widely read today and have been turned into films, television shows, musicals, plays and much more.
