Sakyajit Bhattacharya
Sakyajit Bhattacharya has written around forty short stories and nine novels, including Ekhane Derek Bose Ache, Ekanore, Shesh Mrito Pakhi, and Rakkhoser Ghorbari, an anthology of short stories. A few of his fictions, both in long and short forms, have been translated into English. The English translation of Ekanore (The One-Legged) was shortlisted for the JCB Prize for Literature, 2024. He has been awarded prestigious Bengali literature prizes like Golpodesh Award in 2020 and GodyoPodyoProbondho Award in 2024.
