Baidar Bakht
Born in Delhi in 1940, Baidar Bakht is an award-winning and internationally known bridge engineer. He has also translated into English the poetry of many modern Urdu poets during the past four decades. He is a member of the Order of Canada, and lives in Ottawa, Canada, with his wife; his children and grandchildren also live in this city.
