Hoihnu Hauzel
Hoihnu Hauzel is a journalist with over twenty years of reporting experience for The Asian Age, The Indian Express, Hindustan Times, The Times of India, and The Telegraph. She later turned to independent writing to focus on North-east India. Hauzel is the author of The Essential Northeast Cookbook (Penguin), and Requiem for a Home in Manipur (Copper Coin Publishing), a poetic meditation on loss and displacement after the 2023 Manipur crisis. She also founded Northeast Odyssey, a platform showcasing the region’s distinctive stays, and The NE Stories.
