Zai Whitaker
Zai Whitaker is the author of twenty-two books, most of them for children and about the environment. She is the Managing Trustee of the Madras Crocodile Bank, of which she is a co-founder. Zai worked at the Madras Snake Park for several years, was a teacher at the Kodaikanal International School for eighteen years, and started and developed an organisation for the women of the Irula tribe.
